USE 2027: A New Era for Welding and Cutting
Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is set to launch ‘The Ultimate World of Cutting and Welding – Urban Steel Expo (USE)’ in response to industry demands for a more dynamic and modern platform. Scheduled for April 20-23, 2027, the event will transform the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre into a global hub for welding, cutting, and related technologies.
Bernd Jablonowski, Executive Director, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, emphasized that the industry required an updated trade fair format, and the new event provides the ideal framework. He stated, “Messe Düsseldorf is well-suited for such agile concepts. USE 2027 sets new standards and will elevate the sector to the next level.”
The expo has already secured participation from major industry players, including Kemper, MicroStep Europa GmbH, Accurl Europe, ESAB, and Kuka. Daniel Ryfisch, Director of USE/wire & Tube and Flow Technologies, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “With USE 2027, we are creating a platform that brings technological progress to life. The commitment of leading firms reinforces confidence in our concept and will advance the welding and cutting industry.”
Additionally, USE will incorporate Urban Steel Rockstars (USR), an event developed in collaboration with MingleMakers UG. USR will focus on communication, branding, and industry trends, featuring interactive masterclasses with experts. Frederic Lanz, CEO, MingleMakers UG, noted that this partnership will enhance the industry’s experience, calling it a milestone for the sector.
Düsseldorf was chosen for its strong infrastructure, accessibility, and reputation for hosting major industrial events. With its innovative approach, USE 2027 aims to reshape the future of welding and cutting exhibitions.
