DGM / GM – Business Development

Location: HITEX, Hyderabad

Department: Business Development

Reporting To: CEO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bring new trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale B2B/B2C events.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade bodies, event organizers and event managers.
  • Drive business growth by exploring new sectors and revenue streams.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial terms and agreements.
  • Lead market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Represent HITEX at national and international trade shows and networking forums.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (operations, marketing, legal, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business Development, or related fields.
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in the events/exhibitions/conventions industry.
  • Strong network across event organizers and industry associations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Senior Manager / AGM – Banquet Sales

Location: HITEX, Hyderabad

Department: Business Development – Banquet Division

Reporting To: DGM / GM Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell banquet, conference, and meeting facilities to corporates for events such as trainings, workshops, meetings, and business gatherings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and event planners.
  • Prepare customized proposals, pricing, and contracts based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations & F&B for event execution.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and ensure client satisfaction pre- and post-event.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Hotel Management, Sales, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in banquet/corporate sales, preferably in hotels or convention centers.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Manager / Deputy Manager – Food & Beverage (F&B)

Location: HITEX, Hyderabad

Department: F&B

Reporting To: DGM / GM Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage F&B vendor operations across food courts and event spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and service quality standards by all vendors.
  • Handle contracts, licensing, and operational compliance for F&B partners.
  • Monitor performance and resolve issues related to F&B services during events.
  • Coordinate with event teams to understand and meet catering requirements.
  • Identify and onboard new F&B partners based on visitor demand and event profile.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, F&B, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in F&B operations or vendor management, preferably in large-scale venues or event environments.
  • Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and operational compliance.
