Uber Pet Expands to Delhi and Mumbai with HUFT Partnership for Exclusive Perks
Uber Technologies Inc has extended its Uber Pet service to Delhi and Mumbai, following its launch in Bengaluru last year. The service allows pet owners to travel with their animals conveniently and is available both on-demand and as a Reserve option, giving users the flexibility to book rides instantly or schedule them in advance.
As part of the expansion, Uber has partnered with pet care brand Heads Up for Tails (HUFT) to offer special discounts for passengers traveling to HUFT stores and spas in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Customers can also receive exclusive deals at HUFT locations by presenting their Uber Pet ride receipt.
Shweta Mantri, Head, Rider Verticals, India & South Asia, Uber Technologies Inc, highlighted that the service expansion provides greater convenience for pet owners. She noted that based on customer feedback, Uber has introduced the option to book Uber Pet rides on-demand, making pet-friendly travel more accessible. She also emphasized that the partnership with HUFT enhances the experience by offering additional perks, making travel with pets more enjoyable.
Pet owners can book Uber Pet through the Uber app by entering their destination, selecting Uber Pet, and confirming their ride.
