Telangana Grants INR 40 Cr to Build IT Tower on Adilabad's Outskirts
Telangana Government has authorized an administrative sanction of INR 40 crore for the setting up of an information technology (IT) tower on three acres of land on the outskirts of Adilabad.
To disseminate infrastructure to tier II cities, the district administration has selected three acres in survey no 72 of Battisavargaon village under the ICT policy and Rural Technology Policy. The project, with a built-up area of 48,000 sq ft, will be carried out by the IT department in collaboration with Telangana State Industrial Development Corporation (TSIC). The Telangana chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently held a workshop in the district on the prospects of industrial growth, and an IT firm, NTT BDNT (LabData Business Solutions India), has created a unit in Adilabad to employ youth.
