Supriya Lifescience Expands Solar Power Capacity with New 5 MWp Facility

Supriya Lifescience Ltd, a cGMP-compliant API manufacturer, has reinforced its sustainability efforts with the inauguration of a 5-megawatt peak (MWp) solar power facility in Nanded District, Maharashtra. This initiative adds to the company’s renewable energy portfolio, increasing its total installed solar capacity to 9.85 MWp, including the existing 4.85 MWp projects in Solapur District.
The facility was inaugurated by Dr Satish Wagh, Chairman, Supriya Lifescience Ltd, who said the company is focused on using renewable energy as part of its operations. He explained that adopting solar power is not just a business strategy but a step toward a cleaner future. He also said that investing in solar energy is an important part of the company’s plans for long-term growth while reducing its environmental impact.
Developed in partnership with Enrich Energy Pvt Ltd, the project highlights Supriya Lifescience’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. By incorporating solar energy into its operations, the company aims to lessen its reliance on fossil fuels and support India’s climate goals.
