Supertails Unveils India’s First Fear-Free Pet Clinic

Supertails, a Bengaluru-based pet care startup, has launched its first offline veterinary clinic, designed to provide a stress-free experience for pets and their owners. Staff members at the new Supertails+ Clinic in Koramangala consist exclusively of Fear Free Certified veterinarians and healthcare professionals who create an anxiety-free environment for pets. Vineet Khanna, Co-founder, Supertails, emphasizes the initiative's goal, which is to provide not just expert medical care but also an emotionally supportive experience for pets.
India has nearly 38 million pets, yet over 70 percent do not receive regular veterinary care. Supertails aims to bridge this gap by offering both digital and physical healthcare services. The 2,500 sq ft clinic encompasses separate waiting areas for different animals and dedicated consultation rooms. It also provides toys and treats as stress management tools for comfortable visits. Stating that fear can have long-term effects on a pet’s health. Dr Swathi Hareendran, Head Veterinarian, Supertails+ Clinic, highlighted the Supertails’ Fear Free approach—which helps reduce anxiety, leading to better health outcomes.
The facility features an on-site pharmacy, OPD, radiology rooms, grooming spaces, and a diagnostic lab. Supertails is also launching at-home pet care services for post-consultation support. With a digital pet pharmacy, online vet consultations, and a marketplace for pet essentials, Supertails has served 500,000+ customers and facilitated 250,000+ vet consultations in just three years. The company now plans to open three more Bengaluru clinics in the next 90 days, with future expansion across India.
