Sky-Hero Unveils Cutting-Edge Drone Facility
Sky-Hero India, a subsidiary of Belgian firm Sky-Hero has opened a facility in Mumbai. It has been given license to build two revolutionary unmanned aerial vehicles - the Loki Mk-II unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the Sigyn Mk-I unmanned ground vehicle (UGV).
The company presented an impressive demonstration of its capabilities to the National Security Guard, paramilitary forces, and Indian special forces of India.
The Loki Mk-II UAV is an agile quadcopter specifically designed to operate effectively in confined indoor spaces, GPS-denied areas, and high-obstacle environments. Both the Loki Mk-II and Sigyn Mk-I can be operated efficiently using a console controlled by Sky-Hero's GCS MK-II, utilizing analogue signals at a frequency of 500 MHz.
The incorporation of these advanced technologies brings forth the potential to strengthen India's security and enhance operational efficiency in diverse and demanding scenarios. Embracing indigenous production exemplifies India's dedication to self-reliance in defense technology, fostering a strong and self-sustaining defense ecosystem.
