Sintex to Establish INR 350 Cr Manufacturing Plant in Telangana
Sintex, a well-known water tank brand owned by the Welspun Group, would invest INR 350 crore to establish a manufacturing site in Telangana. KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT, Industries, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Government of Telangana, declared that the INR 350 crore unit will manufacture tanks, pipes, auto components, and ancillaries, creating 1,000 jobs.
BK Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group will lay the foundation stone for the Sintex manufacturing factory in Chandanvelly, Rangareddy. The Minister thanked Sintex’s leadership for investing in Telangana, saying the State’s progressive policies and world-class infrastructure attracted the company. The State Government will fully help current enterprises expanding in Telangana, he added. Goenka said the company is thriving in the State and that the Government’s investment-friendly policies pushed them to expand.
