Pune Played Host to the India Gaming Show 2024
The India Gaming Show 2024, held at Messe Global Pune Laxmi Lawns, Pune, concluded after three days of uniting gaming enthusiasts, developers, investors, and industry leaders from 10 countries. Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS), the event was supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
Rajan Navani, President, IDGS, pointed out India’s crucial role in the global gaming market, which is forecast to grow to US$ 665.77 billion by 2030. The event showcased the dynamic gaming industry’s newest advances, ideas, and trends in a perfect venue, Pune, which is home to over 50 gaming firms and an innovative startup environment.
Featuring workshops, panel discussions, and fireside chats led by industry experts, the event covered topics such as relevant gaming influencers, esports economics, and government initiatives that are supporting the gaming sector. Participants explored various booths displaying advanced gaming equipment and engaged in esports tournaments, encouraging a gaming community that thrives on networking and collaboration.
