PM Modi Inaugurated Major Infrastructure Projects in Hyderabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated projects worth over INR 11,300 crore in Hyderabad, including laying the foundation stone of AIIMS Bibinagar, five National Highway projects, and the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station.
The Prime Minister stressed the ethos of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, saying that the Centre must fulfill Telangana’s citizens’ development dreams. He also flagged off the Secunderabad Tirupati Vande Bharat Express at Secunderabad Railway Station, connecting Hyderabad to Tirupati.
Prime Minister Modi further highlighted the progress of Hyderabad's metro network and the Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS), along with the expansion of Telangana's highway network. Over the past nine years, Telangana's railway budget has increased 17-fold, and he stressed the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station as part of the government's campaign to modernize railway stations nationwide.
He also announced that Telangana will be home to one of seven mega textile parks the government is setting up across the country.
