Nibe Ltd Opens New Plant in Pune for Defence Component Manufacturing - News

Nibe Ltd inaugurated its cutting-edge plant in Pune, aiming to revolutionize India’s defence component manufacturing. Equipped with advanced machinery, including 16m and 12m Vertical Machining Centres, the facility is dedicated to producing critical sub-systems for indigenous projects like Modular Bridges and missile launcher system components.

The inauguration was graced by dignitaries like Ajay Bhatt. Minister of State for Defence, and Admiral Radhakrishnan Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, marks a significant leap in defence innovation. Led by Ganesh Ramesh Nibe, Chairman and Managing Director, Nibe Group, focuses on technology and sustainability, aiming to pioneer eco-friendly solutions. 

With expertise in precision machining and automated welding, the plant will manufacture heavy engineering structures, mobile weapon launchers, naval applications, and precision sub-systems for small arms. Nibe Ltd’s commitment to quality, innovation, and eco-friendly practices aligns with India’s push for indigenous defence manufacturing, aiming to bolster the nation's self-reliance in defence technology.
