Nasscom CoE Leads the Way in Smart Manufacturing Research Conclave
Nasscom Centre of Excellence (CoE), Gandhinagar, a Digital India initiative supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Gujarat Government, held a Smart Manufacturing Research Conclave from April 29-30. Over 150 manufacturing leaders, startups, tech SMEs, researchers, government officials, technical experts, and innovators from the manufacturing ecosystem discussed innovative Industry 4.0 research ideas for commercialization and smart manufacturing solutions. Al in production planning, predictive maintenance, computer vision in smart manufacturing, robotics, cobotics, smart machine tools, and more were covered in workshops by professors from multiple IITs.
The conclave also showcased cutting-edge research from the best institutes and made it available to manufacturing leaders and solution providers for varied use cases. The event’s Zero Defect Zero Effect practices certification session highlighted the Ministry of MSME, Government of India’s work in this area. Panels discussed industry collaboration for innovation and MSMEs in smart manufacturing. The event showcases the common dedication to innovation and expertise in smart manufacturing, creating an ideal setting for sharing ideas and best practices. The nasscom CoE promotes developing technology use cases and connects manufacturers with solution providers and researchers.
