Micronora 2024 Showcases AI and Smart Microtechnology
Held in Besançon, France, Micronora 2024 reinforced its status as the leading trade fair for microtechnology and high precision. Organized by the Micronora Association, the event displayed the latest innovations in sectors like machine tools, lasers, plastic injection molding, and more.
The event was inaugurated by Nicolas Dufourcq, Executive Director, Bpifrance, who highlighted the importance of supporting micro and nanotechnology businesses. Over 14,500 professionals attended and over 750 companies from across the globe, showcasing a strong industry presence across five exhibition halls.
The ‘Zoom’ event focused on smart microtechnology, presenting advances in artificial intelligence, machine connectivity, and data science. Visitors were introduced to innovations like smart sensors and the Smart Bra, which helps detect breast cancer risks.
The Microns d’Or contest recognized standout innovations, with Chiron Technologies Corporation winning the top award for its Micro5 machining center. Several exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the event, including Nano Dimension Ltd, who appreciated the networking opportunities, and Chiron Technologies Corporation, proud of the recognition they received.
