Messe Munchen India, SEMI Join Forces for Semicon India 2024 - News

Messe Muenchen India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Messe Munchen GmbH, in collaboration with Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), a global industry association, is set to organize Semicon India 2024, bringing together industry leaders and experts to discuss the latest trends in electronics and semiconductors. 
The event, scheduled for September 2024, follows the India Semiconductor Mission’s announcements at Semicon India 2023. India’s semiconductor demand, valued at US$ 24 billion, is expected to reach US$ 110 billion by 2030, attracting global companies. 
Bhupinder Singh, CEO, Messe Muenchen India, emphasized the collaboration’s significance, particularly in light of India’s increasing semiconductor demand. 
Ajit Manocha, President and CEO, SEMI, highlighted India’s strengths in the semiconductor industry and emphasized the need for a mature and resilient supply chain to meet the escalating demand. The collaboration between Messe Munchen India and SEMI marks a crucial step in India’s journey to becoming a major player in the global semiconductor market.
