Marriott International Inc Launches New Tech Accelerator in Hyderabad
In early 2025, Marriott International Inc. will launch its first overseas Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. Known as the Marriott Tech Accelerator, the facility aims to leverage the city’s skilled tech talent to encourage innovations, next-gen solutions, and improve security capabilities across the multinational company’s global network, according to Drew Pinto, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue & Technology Officer, Marriott International Inc.
He shared that this new center will complement the company’s existing global talent resources, allowing it to access top-tier tech expertise from around the world. He emphasized the importance of Hyderabad’s digital talent pool for advancing the company’s business strategy.
Naveen Manga, Global Chief Technology Officer, Marriott International Inc., explained that the GCC will concentrate on software engineering, infrastructure and operations, and cybersecurity. The plan is to build a diverse team to cover all aspects of engineering, ranging from analysts to highly skilled professionals in these essential areas.
