Malaysia's PCEB Holds Roadshow in Hyderabad
Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) held its sixth Penang Roadshow to India 2023 in Hyderabad as part of its four Indian cities campaign to promote Penang as a business
and event location. The government body expects 800 Indian buyers and trade tourists this year, 2,500 events in the state, 2.6 lakh delegates, and RM1 billion in employment and economic impact (EEI).
Indian delegates will dominate the V-Convention, held biannually in Penang with 15,000 attendees. Stating that to reconnect with the India market, PCEB will offer the latest meetings and incentive packages, Yeoh Soon Hin, Penang State Minister for Tourism and Creative Economy, added that these are one of many efforts to give a new viewpoint on Penang by including Mainland attractions.
