Israel-India Collaboration: EVR Motor’s Milestone Plant
An Israel-based innovator in high-power-density electric motors, EVR Motors, inaugurated its new greenfield plant in Manesar, Haryana. This facility, under its subsidiary I.EVR Motors Pvt Ltd is the first manufacturing operation in India for an Israeli automotive firm and will be important in EVR’s global production strategy.
The plant will produce trapezoidal geometry coils, a key component of EVR’s Trapezoidal Stator Radial Flux Permanent Magnet (RFPM) motor technology. Initially designed to supply coils for 20,000 motors per month, the facility plans to expand to 100,000 motors to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs).
The company has secured commercial agreements with prominent Indian automotive companies such as Napino Auto & Electronics Ltd, Belrise Group, EKA Mobility, and RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd. These partnerships will strengthen the supply chain and enhance the company’s ability to cater to both the Indian and international markets. Sajal Kishore, MD, I.EVR Motors Pvt Ltd, highlighted the significance of the new plant, emphasizing its role in revolutionizing electric mobility and supporting growth plans in India and globally.
