India’s Mega Events of 2024 to Woo Global Buyers
India will organize major fairs and exhibitions throughout 2024 to attract international consumers and boost indigenous firms’ worldwide prominence. These events will allow domestic exhibitors to promote their products and interact with global customers in the food, textiles, and automotive sectors.
Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Additional Secretary & DG, DGFT, Government of India, stressed the need for more domestic exhibitors at international events. Due to Indian companies’ low participation in global exhibits, the Government is sponsoring huge events to attract foreign customers, giving domestic exhibitors a chance to expand globally.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 (February 1-3), will bring together the mobility value chain, with 47 major countries showcasing EV, drones, batteries, charging stations, and alternative fuel technology. Bharat Tex 2024 (February 26-29) and Indus Food (January 8-10) will attract foreign and domestic buyers, highlighting the textile industry’s prowess and the food sector, respectively.
India’s 2024 mega fairs and exhibitions demonstrate the Government’s commitment to global commerce and domestic industry competitiveness. These events are expected to boost exports and economic growth by focusing on food, textiles, and cars.
