India Energy Storage Week 2025 to Boost Manufacturing and Investments

India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2025, the country’s leading event for battery and energy storage technologies, will be held from July 8-10, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi (IICC), New Delhi. Organized by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), the 11th edition of the event aims to bolster the country’s position as a global manufacturing hub.

The organizers expect the event to attract investments worth over INR 8,000 crore in energy storage, electric vehicles, and green hydrogen. Over 150 key partners, exhibitors, and more than 1,000 companies will participate in the event. Countries expected to participate include Germany, France, the UK, the USA, Canada, Israel, Korea, and Finland. The event will aim to support factory and gigafactory announcements, foreign investments, business deals, and MoUs.

The event is backed by ministries and state partners such as Gujarat, Odisha, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Debmalya Sen, President, India Energy Storage Alliance, stated that the event is a pivotal moment for the sector and a day each will be dedicated to themes like stationary storage, e-mobility, green hydrogen, and manufacturing.

Vinayak Walimbe, Managing Director, Customized Energy Solutions, called the event a game-changer that will help shape the future of India’s energy and mobility industries. Adding to that, Walimbe is optimistic that the event will garner a remarkable surge in investments.

With over 6,600 cleantech startups across India, IESA projects that battery and mobility startups will receive up to US$ 500 million in investments in the next year, driving innovation in the sector, thus reinforcing the importance of the event.
