Ikonz Studios Raises Strategic Investment

Ikonz Studios, a Hyderabad-based startup specializing in AI-driven digital avatars and holographic experiences, has secured a strategic Series A investment from American-Canadian songwriter and record producer Marc Jordan. This marks Jordan’s first investment in India. The strategic funding round also brought together major investors such as Ramana Thummu, CTO, Expedia; Madhusudan Kela, a prominent investor; and Akash Bhanshali, Principal Owner, Enam Group, through their respective family offices. Jordan is affiliated with Blue Amber Investments and State of the Art Entertainment and is known for working with Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Imagine Dragons.
While Ikonz has not disclosed the exact amount raised, the company holds an estimated value of US$ 80 million. The startup company, established in 2021, aims to use its latest funding for augmenting its intellectual property (IP) holdings in Indian and worldwide markets alongside the expansion of its technical and execution teams.
The majority of funding will be allocated toward procuring and developing high-value digital IPs, further cementing Ikonz’s position as a leader in AI-driven interactive content. The company also aims to enhance its workforce numbers by expanding it from 34 to approximately 100 employees. The global expansion strategy of the organization is reinforced through a 20 percent US-based workforce operating alongside 80 percent of the team in India.
This latest investment highlights Ikonz’s rapid growth and its ambition to revolutionize AI-driven digital entertainment on a global scale.
