IGBC and TSIIC Ink MoU to Support Green Buildings - News

CII-Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Green Building Congress 2022 to improve green building projects in Telangana. 

The MOU was signed between EV Narasimha Reddy, Vice Chairman & Managing Director (FAC), TSIIC, and Gurmit Singh Arora, Chairman, IGBC. Both parties would collaborate to develop green buildings in Telangana and incentivize green building grading systems for rehabilitation and retrofitting projects. The two parties have agreed to jointly perform an assessment study to analyze the green criteria of possible projects and handhold TSIIC/its consultants throughout the project lifespan.

TSIIC and IGBC would teach and educate project developers and also promote sustainable built environments in Telangana, including green buildings and cities, on various platforms, showcasing it as a national Model Green State. TSIIC will also promote IGBC Green Rating Systems for its projects.
