IDMA's Pharma Live Expo & Summit in January 2024 - News

The Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) is gearing up for its prestigious Pharma Live Expo & Summit, set to unfold from January 17-19 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. 
Anticipating over 500 exhibitors and a display of 20,000+ products, this flagship event, under the patronage of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, enjoys support from industry entities such as Pharmexcil, FOPE, FPME, and BDMAI, among others. The event is expected to attract about 20,000 participants from global pharma and approximately six profiles; these include pharma, nutra and herbal formulations, packaging machines, contract manufacturing, active pharma ingredients, lab units, and others.
India’s strides to self-reliance in drug manufacturing, which have been promoted through initiatives such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Revised Schedule M policies, form a backdrop to this significant industry gathering. Daara Patel, Secretary General, IDMA, expressed the expo’s role in fostering collective growth and meaningful discussions within the pharmaceutical community on a global scale. Expectations include participation from over 50 countries, emphasizing the expo’s international prominence. Some of the major participants are ACG, Micro Labs, Shree Venkatesh International, etc., providing an overview of industry abilities.
