Hyderabad Real Estate Hyderabad Real Estate Sees Surge in Affordable Housing Registrations in April
Knight Frank India, a leading international property consultant, reported that Hyderabad registered 4,398 residential properties in April 2023, worth INR 2,230 crore. Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, and Sangareddy comprise the Hyderabad residential market. In April 2023, 54 percent of registrations were for homes between INR 25-50 lakhs, while 18 percent were for homes under INR 25 lakhs. Sale registrations for properties over INR 1 crore rose from 11 percent in April 2022 to 13 percent in April 2023.
In April 2023, 17 percent of property registrations were for 500-1,000 sq ft size, up from 14 percent in April 2022. In April 2023, 69 percent of properties were 1,000-2,000 sq ft. Medchal-Malkajgiri (district) has 47 percent home sale registration, followed by Rangareddy (district) with 38 percent. Hyderabad (district) has 14 percent of the April 2023 registrations.
Residential property prices fell 0.3 percent in April 2023. Hyderabad had the largest market value growth at 9 percent annually, showing that many high-priced residences were sold there.
