Goat Robotics Raises US$ 311K to Scale AI and Automation

Goat Robotics, a Coimbatore-based company that designs and produces autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for various industries, has secured US$ 311K equivalent to INR 26.6 million, in a recent funding round to boost its efforts in AI-driven automation. The investment will support product development, improve R&D, and expand the company’s market presence.
The funding round was led by Campus Angels Network, with participation from Native Lead Angels, Pontaq Ventures, TiE Coimbatore, and others. The start-up, incubated at Forge Ventures and backed by PSG STEP, develops intelligent robotic systems that streamline operations and are cost-effective across industries.
Muthukumar Thiyagarajan, CEO, Goat Robotics, described the funding as a significant step forward in the company’s mission to transform automation through intelligent robotics. He also added that the funding would allow the company to expand its solutions and grow its market reach.
Chandran Krishnan, Managing Director & CEO, Campus Angels Network, praised the start-up’s vision. Krishnan stated that Goat Robotics is the kind of tech-focused, high-impact startup that fits well with the investor firm’s goal of supporting its groundbreaking innovations.
