Global Defence Agreement Between EDGE Group and Adani Group - News

In a move aimed at advancing global defence capabilities, EDGE Group and Adani Group have forged a strategic agreement. This collaboration aims to harness the expertise of both entities in the defence and aerospace sectors. By merging their product portfolios, they aim to meet the diverse needs of customers worldwide.

The agreement focuses on key areas such as missiles, weapons, platforms, systems, and advanced technologies. It entails joint efforts in developing innovative solutions, including unmanned aerial systems, counter-drone systems, and electronic warfare technologies.

Moreover, plans are underway to establish research and development facilities in India and the UAE. This initiative will also lead to the creation of production and maintenance facilities. These facilities will serve local markets and cater to Southeast Asian and global markets.

Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO, EDGE Group, expressed the significance of this agreement in reinforcing ties within India’s defence industry. This partnership highlights a shared commitment to enhancing military cooperation between both countries, marking a significant milestone in their strategic alliance.
