Expanding Luxury Travel Portfolio: THRS Segues into Japan and Azerbaijan

Travel and Hospitality Representation Services (THRS), a leading Indian firm in luxury travel representation, has recently expanded into Japan and Azerbaijan. This expansion is a bold step in offering unique travel experiences to India’s rapidly growing outbound luxury market.
As part of the firm’s growth, THRS has been appointed as the exclusive sales representative for FAUCHON L’Hôtel Kyoto, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), and Start Travel, a leading Travel Management Company (TMC) based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Yeishan Goel, Group CEO, THRS, noted that Indian travelers are increasingly seeking immersive and high-end experiences. Japan and Azerbaijan have emerged as hot-spot tourist destinations, and the company’s collaboration with FAUCHON L’Hôtel Kyoto and Start Travel exemplifies its dedication to offering unique experiences.
Located in central Kyoto, Japan, FAUCHON L’Hôtel Kyoto is widely known for its unique fusion of ‘Kyo-French’ cuisine. Nobu Sugimura, General Manager, FAUCHON L’Hôtel Kyoto, emphasized India’s importance by recognizing it as a key market with a strong appetite for fine dining and culture. He acknowledged that the partnership will improve the brand’s presence among Indian travelers.
Start Travel, established in 2015, specializes in inbound and outbound tourism across Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan. Nadir Farajov, Commercial Director, Start Travel, stated that the management company aims to showcase Azerbaijan’s rich culture and hospitality to Indian tourists through this partnership.
This partnership comes at a time when the outbound travel market in India is anticipated to increase at a consistent 11.4 percent annual rate to reach an estimated US$ 55.4 billion by 2034. The rising demand for upscale and experience-driven travel is driving this expansion.
