DN Solutions Signs MoU for INR 600 Cr Investment in Bengaluru Facility
To establish a new factory and R&D center in Bengaluru, India, DN Solutions is set to invest over INR 600 crore by 2030. Wonjong Kim, CEO, DN Solutions, recently met with S Selvakumar, Principal Secretary of Commerce and Industries Department, Government of Karnataka, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Lotte Hotel Seoul, South Korea. This investment aims to boost the company’s presence and capabilities in India.
The Government of Karnataka has pledged administrative support, including permits and incentives, for this project. The MoU signing was attended by key dignitaries, including M B Patil, Cabinet Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka; Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India, Republic of Korea; and Ramesh Vishwanath Iyer, President, Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). The new facility, located within an industrial park near Bengaluru, is expected to be operational by 2026.
DN Solutions, a prominent global brand for machine tools in India, first established a presence in the country in 2008 with a technical center in Bangalore. Earlier this year, the company launched the SVM 4100i machining center, tailored for the local market. Kim emphasized India’s competitive manufacturing capabilities and importance as a key emerging market for the company’s future growth.
