Chennai Witnessed Stellar Finish of Tourism Fair
The 48th India Tourism and Industrial Trade Fair, held at Island Grounds, Chennai, wrapped up after attracting over 5.86 lakh visitors over 70 days.
Around 4,91,361 grownups and 94,637 children are slated to visit the fair. The best pavilion award will be declared in June.
Shri Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister for Youth Welfare, Sports Development, Special Programme Implementation, Govt of Tamil Nadu alongside Shri K Ramachandran, Minister for Tourism Development Corporation, Govt of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the event. Also present at the event was Kakarla Usha IAS, Commissioner of Tourism and Chairperson and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC).
