CapitaLand Investment Expands India Presence with Hyderabad Business Park and Data Center
Singapore’s CapitaLand Investment (CLI) opens a Hyderabad business park renovation project and builds a 40-megawatt data center on the same campus. International Tech Park Hyderabad’s first phase, a 1.4 million-sq-ft grade A office structure, is full. CLI wants to leverage Hyderabad’s IT/ITES infrastructure potential and strengthen government-corporate cooperation in business parks and data centers.
CLI just completed a first closure for the CapitaLand India Growth Fund 2, raising US$ 269 million to construct further commercial projects in India. Cloud4C Services, Tata Consultancy, Ernst & Young, and Warner Bros Discovery are among the major tenants of the renovated International Tech Park Hyderabad, which has 100 percent lease commitment for Phase 1.
The project has LEED Gold certification, rooftop solar panels, and water-saving fixtures. CLI plans to expand the complex’s leasable area to 4.9 million sq ft and house approximately 50,000 IT workers. As CLI builds a 40MW data center on campus for hyperscalers and large organizations, it shows its commitment to India’s tech and real estate sectors.
