Amadeus Expands Presence in India with New Engineering Site in Pune
Amadeus, a Pune-based leading travel technology provider, has opened an engineering site in Pune, Maharashtra, to develop cutting-edge travel technology solutions and improve its products and services in India and the Asia Pacific region. The new site shows Amadeus Labs’ commitment to innovation and digital transformation as it expands in India, as well as improving and providing new technology for hospitality companies nationwide. Over 3,000 engineers work at Amadeus Labs’ Bengaluru R&D center.
Mani Ganeshan, Global Head, Engineering, Travel Sellers Unit and Centre Head, Amadeus Labs, said the expansion reinforces the company's commitment to investing in India and exploiting the country's strong engineering and technological skills. He stated that this new facility will allow Amadeus Labs to provide innovative travel solutions that exceed client expectations, drive its global R&D, and keep them at the forefront of travel technology in India and the Asia Pacific.
Skilled engineers at the new center will leverage artificial intelligence, data science, and cloud-based technologies to create and implement novel solutions for Amadeus’ Indian and international customers. The experts will work with Amadeus Labs' teams to build innovative hospitality technology.
