ACMA Mobility Foundation Launched Automotive Aftermarket Expo in Patna

The Automotive Components Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) organized the first-ever Automotive Aftermarket Expo under its Mobility Foundation from December 6-7, 2024. Held at Samrat Ashok International Convention Centre, Patna, this historic event highlighted the dynamic automotive aftermarket segment in Eastern India. The two-day event featured 30+ exhibitors and over 1,000 products, uniting stakeholders such as mechanics, dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and more, while encouraging the use of genuine spare parts for increased vehicle safety. Vinnie Mehta, Director & Secretary, ACMA Mobility Foundation, emphasized that this event reflects the industry’s commitment to excellence and is a key step in empowering professionals across the ecosystem.

Some of the leading suppliers to the automotive industry displayed innovative solutions, including Brakes India, Minda Corporation, and Tata AutoComp. Ramashankar Pandey, Chairman - Aftermarket Sub-Pillar, ACMA Mobility Foundation, informed that the expo offered good employment and entrepreneurial prospects in Bihar and Jharkhand, which contribute 5 percent of India’s aftermarket market. With a footfall of over 5,000 business visitors, along with dedicated B2B meetings, the event was a turning point for the aftermarket in the region. Powered by e-commerce penetration and growing vehicle demand, India’s aftermarket sector is evolving into an organized and thriving industry.
