Taloja Roadshow Sets Stage for IPEC & ESE 2025

An insightful curtain-raiser event—IPEC and ESE 2025 - Roadshow at Taloja, Mumbai—was organized by Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Ltd (HITEX) and Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Taloja. Held recently at Effotel Hotel, Taloja, this event and move prepared the ground for the upcoming events—India Process Expo & Conference (IPEC) and Eco-Sustain Expo (ESE) 2025.

HITEX Ltd, together with CETP Taloja, had recently conducted a successful roadshow at the Taloja Industrial Area. The one-day event gathered policymakers, experts in environmental conservation, and industry stalwarts for a candid exchange on how to make industries cleaner, smarter, and sustainable. It was a prelude and a run-in to the much-awaited IPEC and ESE 2025 expos to be held on August 22-24, at HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad.

A Platform for Real Conversations

During the welcome address, Srikanth TG, Business Head, HITEX Ltd, pointed out the necessity of such cross-industry dialogues, setting the stage for a lively panel discussion. It was followed by a video presentation of HITEX, with the introduction by the HITEX Business Head, in addition to a video presentation of TALOJA CETP by Madhukar Naik, Managing Director, M/s KDC-AQUA (JV) and Member of the Co-ordination Committee of Taloja CETP Co-operative Society Ltd.

Moderated by Avinash Rananavare, Head EHS (DGM), Performance Chemiserve Ltd (a Deepak Fertilizer Enterprise), the session featured insights from notable panelists who were introduced by G John Sudheer, Own Shows, Assistant General Manager, HITEX Ltd. The renowned panelists included Santosh Mohare, Field Officer, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board; Somnath Malgar, Director, Mumbai Waste Management Ltd; Kunal Pawar, Director, PTC Watertech LLP; Abhijit Shinde, Chairman, Taloja CETP; and Sandeep Dongare, Vice Chairman, Taloja CETP. Focusing on environmental stewardship as the backbone of future-ready industries, the session reiterated the urgency that echoed throughout the room.

It was a call to not merely cope with waste, but to redesign the very concept of waste as a resource. Sustainability should become a part of the industries, as the technology is available, and now it is about adoption and scale. Later in the day, after a video presentation of PTC Watertech LLP, another panel discussion and Q&A session moderated by Rananavare offered additional critical insights into the trends. Eventually, the event concluded with remarks from MPCB and a vote of thanks from HITEX’s Sudheer, along with CETP leaders Abhijit Shinde and Sandeep Dongare, followed by an engaging networking lunch that saw spirited discussions spill over into prospective collaborations.

As IPEC 2025 looks to provide a platform for process engineering, industrial solutions, and automation, and ESE 2025 champions waste management and clean-tech innovation, the roadshow underscored the need for collective action, mirroring industry’s hunger for change. With these August expos just around the corner, Taloja’s roadshow has transformed into a catalyst for sustainability-driven progress under the backdrop of the industrial heartland of Maharashtra.

Organized by Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Ltd (HITEX), India Process Expo & Conference (IPEC) 2025 and Eco Sustain Expo 2025, planned for August 22-24, gets ready to host a combined 200+ companies from 25+ cities, advocating for process industry and sustainable strategies through key showcases and new developments/solutions on display in the related as well as allied sectors.
