HITEX SportExpo 2024 attracted over 49 exhibitors, drawing 25,000+ visitors and individuals, who came together to share their passion for fitness, and enjoy the journey towards better health. The two-day event enthralled visitors from a varied walk of life with a diverse array of exhilarating activities and competitions.

Previous editions of SPORTEX featured multiple yoga sessions, marathon challenges, Cyclothon, and the PAN India bodybuilding championship, catering to a wide range of interests within the sports and fitness domain. In addition, table tennis, basketball, box cricket, AR/VR games, and many more offered game enthusiasts an apt platform to test their skills and competitive passion in the backdrop of sportsmanship and physical well-being.

Mallakhamb, Taekwondo, and Calisthenics are some other mentions, providing attendees with awe-inspiring and extraordinary displays of athleticism celebrating the spirit of adventure and the pursuit of physical excellence.
 
Innovative Platforms and Games Unveiled
This year, SportExpo introduced ‘Communitie’, a virtual platform designed to connect like-minded individuals interested in sports, culture, lifestyle, and habits. In the lead-up to the event, Communitie organized a series of activities, including a step count, running challenges, badminton tournament, and cricket tournament.

Around 1,000 people registered for these pre-expo activities, with a memorable gift distribution ceremony celebrating the participants’ achievements during the expo. Communitie highlighting engagement succeeded in fostering connection and competition, making it a highlight of the event.

Another exciting addition to the 2024 edition was the launch of Cornhole, introduced by Buddy Bash, SportExpo’s official sports partner. First time in India at SportExpo 2024, Cornhole, a fun and engaging outdoor game, drew both children and adults alike. The game combines skill, strategy, and a competitive spirit, as the players take turns throwing bags filled with corn kernels at a raised platform with a hole at the far end, making it the perfect activity for families and friends to enjoy.

Key Collaborations Driving Success
SportExpo 2024 witnessed strong partnerships from leading brands, like Buddy Bash, Decathlon, Hyderabad Runners, and Communitie (Hyderabad), coming as Sports, Associate, Marathon, and Activity Partner, respectively. This collaboration, along with sponsors, was a key reason behind the success of the event.

Showcasing commitment to sports and community engagement, Decathlon went in to distribute free water bottles to 20,000+ attendees, enhancing the event experience for participants. Similarly, Gamology, another partner, engaged visitors through board games, creating memorable playtime and offering a digital-free zone where families and individuals could bond over physical activities. Their efforts ensured that everyone experienced the joy of gaming without the distractions of electronic screens.

A Triumph of Endurance
NMDC Hyderabad Marathon, organized by Hyderabad Runners, earned the prestigious World Athletic Tag and was one of the standout features of the HITEX SportExpo 2024. As part of the expo, the marathon bib distribution was another important event that added to the excitement. The number of participants and finishers skyrocketed as 20,000+ committed runners participated in the marathon this year. It was a matter of pride for both the organizers and participants, who demonstrated endurance and determination throughout the entire course of the challenging course, fortifying NMDC Hyderabad Marathon’s position as India’s second-largest marathon.

The Ball is Rolling for 2025
HITEX SportExpo 2024 closed its curtain on a high note, leaving visitors and participants with unforgettable memories and experiences, as well as marking 99 percent exhibitor satisfaction. A large part of the event’s success points directly to the unwavering support and dedication on display from all its stakeholders; it incorporates supporters, partners, visitors, and sports enthusiasts. The participation was tremendous, and the buzz created by the attendees and the exhibitors made sure that the event, yet again, reaffirmed the importance of such platforms in promoting sports, fitness, and wellness.
