Telangana Government Proposes Mobility Valley to Draw INR 50,000 Cr
Telangana Government unveiled India's first mobility-focused cluster, Telangana Mobility Valley (TMV), with the goal of attracting over INR 50,000 crore in investments and creating over 4 lakh jobs over five years, accelerating the development of sustainable mobility in the country.
The state is developing four megaclusters in and around Hyderabad: an EV Manufacturing cluster in Zaheerabad as well as in Seetharampur; an Energy storage system (ESS) cluster in Divitipally; and an Innovation cluster at Yenkathala. Each cluster has state-of-the-art infrastructure to lower tenant
operating costs. Government, academia, and business executives attended the summit.
Telangana Government signed three MoUs: ATS-TUV Rheinland with the Government, Bosch Global Software Technologies with BITS Hyderabad, and Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) with Shell. Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group, which has recently invested, also plans to introduce more zero-emission vehicles.
