Telangana AI Mission Startups to Use NSM AI Computing Infrastructure
The Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), a joint NASSCOM-Telangana Government initiative, facilitated two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Telangana Government and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H). The MoUs will give T-AIM’s Revv Up accelerator program’s 142 AI startups economical access to high-performance AI computing (HPAIC) through National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) public infrastructure.
Revv Up startups can use India’s largest and fastest AI scalable supercomputing infrastructure with 410 AI petaflops at no cost for a limited time, creating INR 10 crores in economic value for T-AIM startups. Following that, startups can use facilities for a third less than private cloud infrastructure providers. The MoU with IIT-H would provide Revv Up startups with discounted PARAM SEVA computing infrastructure of 833 teraflops, built by C-DAC under NSM. The state government stated both MoUs are noteworthy because startups can instantly benefit from partnering by cutting operational costs.
