TCEB and Visa Introduces Thailand MICE Privileges Card
Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), in partnership with Visa Inc, T2P Co―a leading Fintech company in Thailand, and Central Group―a Thai conglomerate, has introduced the ‘Thailand MICE Privileges’ campaign, featuring the Thailand MICE Visa Prepaid Card.
Launched at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Thailand, the card provides exclusive benefits to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) travelers and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs).
Cardholders can enjoy various discounts, including 17 percent off accommodation at Centara Hotels and Resorts, 15 percent off limousine services, and 10 percent off dining. Additional perks include up to 60 percent off transportation, free luggage storage twice a year, one free luggage delivery annually, and up to 25 percent off hotel stays.
Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President, TCEB, shared that the campaign aims to boost the country’s status as a top destination for business events, promoting longer stays and higher spending. The goal is to have 30,000 cardholders by 2025 and achieve a 5 percent rise in per-trip spending.
Punnamas Vichitkulwongsa, Country Manager, Visa Thailand, is positive about the card’s role in digitizing payments and supporting B2B operations, aligning with Visa Inc’s goal of improving financial accessibility. The card, which costs 350 Thai Baht (THB) to issue, can be topped up via the DeepPocket app and is accepted wherever a Visa is accepted.
