Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd Secures New Solar Projects Worth INR 512 Cr
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL), a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, has announced two significant domestic orders valued at approximately INR 512 crore from private independent power producers (IPPs).
The first order involves the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a 200 MW alternating current (AC) / 250 MW peak direct current (DC) photovoltaic (PV) plant in Gujarat. The second order consists of a Letter of Award (LOA) for a 50 MW AC / 65 MWp DC PV plant in Maharashtra.
Amit Jain, Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, expressed satisfaction with these achievements as they highlight the company's strong position in a rapidly expanding market. Both projects were received from existing clients, demonstrating the company’s strong execution capabilities.
This year, out of six major domestic orders received, five have come from existing clients, showcasing the trust placed in SWREL as a key player in the domestic renewable market.
