Saudi Tourism Authority Optimistic About Indian Market
Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has increased its efforts to promote tourism and hospitality in its region in line with its Vision 2030 and welcome more than 2 million Indian visitors this year. The delegation's recent trip to India included meetings, industry roundtables, and networking events in Mumbai and Delhi, followed by two roadshows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
As part of Saudi Arabia's goal to reach 100 million visits per year by 2030, India is expected to be one of its largest tourism source markets by then. STA held over 3,000 meetings with top trade partners and travel buyers to promote Saudi Arabia as a holiday destination and discuss MICE tourism and budget travel trends.
