Sanofi to Establish Global Medical Hub in Hyderabad
Sanofi, a vaccine manufacturer and multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare company, announced plans to set up its Global Medical Hub in Hyderabad. The announcement comes just one day after Bristol Myers Squibb, one of the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies, announced that it has chosen the city to establish its Science, Technology, and Innovation Centre.
The hub currently plans a 350-person workforce, which it will significantly expand in the near future to support its growth ambitions and build the workforce of the future, as well as provide operational support globally. The announcement was made on February 24, 2023, at the industry event BioAsia, in the presence of KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT & Industries, Government of Telangana; Jayesh Ranjan (IAS), Principal Secretary, (I & C) & (IT) Dept, Government of Telangana; and a host of industry leaders.
