PawSwing Unveils Self-Grooming Machine for Cats
PawSwing, a US-based pet care innovator, has unveiled the AutoComb, a groundbreaking device designed to simplify feline grooming. The world’s first auto-self-grooming machine offers a calming, hassle-free grooming experience by combining a biomimetic cat tongue brush, an automatic fur collection system, and a smart snack feeder.
AutoComb, designed with both convenience and comfort in mind. It features six gentle, rotating brushes that mimic the texture and movement of a cat's tongue. The machine’s cave-like structure appeals to cats’ instincts, encouraging them to use it regularly. As the cat passes through, the rotating brushes comb their fur automatically, making it a natural part of their daily routine.
To minimize shedding and cleaning time, the loose fur collected by the AutoComb is kept in a separate compartment for easy discharge. PawSwing also has an exclusive service where the discharged fur can be made into a plush toy tailored to individual needs. There is also a snack feeder on this model, which rewards the cat with treats at desired times, hence encouraging the cat to engage with the device.
Available from PawSwing's website, the AutoComb is for cats up to 40 pounds and is made of sturdy, pet-safe materials. It promises to strip grooming frustration off of both pet parents/owners and cats, making it stress-free with minimal strife.
