OnePlus Unveils INR 6,000 Crore Investment Plan for India
OnePlus has recently unveiled an INR 6,000 crore investment in its Indian business. This initiative is in line with the company’s efforts to deepen operations in one of its largest markets. Innovation, retail expansion, and customer-centric initiatives will be the principal areas of investment, with INR 2,000 crore allocated annually. As part of its Project Starlight, the company aims to expand its service centers by 50 percent by mid-2026 after increasing its service centers by 22 percent in 2024. It also aims to upgrade half of its flagship stores and to improve the customer experience. The company aims to build on its India-specific features while improving after-sales support, including transparent repair tracking and enhanced hotline services.
OnePlus will officially launch the world’s first DisplayMate A++ display, optimized for India’s sunlight, and the OnePlus Green Line Worry-Free Solution to address the industry-wide screen concerns. These advancements will feature in upcoming flagship devices. Robin Liu, CEO, OnePlus India, stressed that Project Starlight demonstrates the company’s dedication to tackling challenges faced by Indian users, and India remains a top priority, globally.
