NORTEC 2026 Announced with Fresh New Look - News

Organized by Messe Stuttgart GmbH, under the motto ‘Production. Innovation. Future.’, NORTEC 2026 will now focus on shorter duration and a fresh image that will aim to strengthen its position in the industry. Scheduled for February 3-5, 2026, at the Hamburg Trade Fair Center, Germany, the new date was carefully selected to meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors.

After intensive evaluations and discussions, the decision to reduce the event from four to three days was made to enhance the fair’s efficiency. Dr Markus Heering, Managing Director, VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association), mentioned that holding the trade fair in northern Germany at the beginning of even years is a popular and well-accepted tradition in the industry. 

The event is expected to return with a revised product and service directory, presenting a fresh image. Heering expressed confidence that the changes would improve the trade fair experience for all involved.

Looking back at NORTEC 2024, it saw a positive restart under the new management of Messe Stuttgart GmbH and the VDW. Roland Bleinroth, President and CEO, Messe Stuttgart GmbH, expressed pride in the success of this year’s event and looked forward to further developing the trade fair for manufacturers attending NORTEC 2026.
