Mumbai will host India's first export-focused and plastic trade exhibition
Government-promoted Plastics Export Promotion Council (Plexconcil) will organize PLEXCONNECT, the country's first export-focused trade fair for the plastic industry, from June 15-17, 2023, in Mumbai, as India becomes a global sourcing hub and global supply chain disruptions represent a major opportunity for the country. Plexconcil, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has driven and accelerated the export growth of the Indian Plastics industry for over 60 years.
PLEXCONNECT 2023 will bring together the global plastics community and allied sectors to promote the Indian Plastics Processing Industry. The expo will gather major machinery manufacturers from India, Germany, and Italy and showcase live machine demos, recycling technologies, and technical seminars. Around 600 buyers from 115 countries are slated to attend a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet in India. Plexconcil wants to double India's plastics exports to US$25 billion by 2025.
