ITME Society Takes Center Stage in Kenya for Textile Machinery Showcase - News

Nairobi, Kenya will host the India International Textile Machinery Exhibition Society (India ITME Society) for its second appearance in Africa. The ITME Africa and Middle East 2023 event will take place from November 30-December 2, 2023, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). The exhibition showcases the latest textile machinery and technology to promote corporate networking and collaboration. The event will draw nearly 125 companies from 23 nations.
Dr Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary, State Department for Industrialization-Ministry of Trade and Industry, Kenya, commended the expo and stressed the need for greater cooperation to improve Kenya’s manufacturing industry. He encouraged Indian partners to build manufacturing and warehouses in Kenya. 
Ketan Sanghvi, Chairman, India ITME Society, said that the event will modernize the African textile industry and encourage trade. The show will include seminars, panel discussions, and technological displays.
Kenya aims to leverage the exhibition to enhance its role in modernizing the textile industry. Technology in cotton farming, engineering machines, household textiles, and more are emphasized.
