Indian Tourists to South Africa Increased by 200%
South African Tourism's strong recovery and desire to promote a variety of genuine locations through the More&More campaign made it Indians' top tourist destinations in 2022. South Africa received nearly 50,000 Indian tourists last year, surpassing its initial goal of 33,900 or more. The tourism board hopes to beat last year's goal by 72 percent. In 2023, South African Tourism expects MICE visitors to grow by 35 percent, and its board is confident that India will continue its recovery and remain one of the fastest-growing source markets for travel to South Africa due to improved connectivity, attractive travel deals, and a variety of experiences.
