Hyderabad to Become the First City with 4 Vande Bharat Express Trains in Operation
Indian Railway plans two more Vande Bharat express trains for Hyderabad. Two Vande Bharat Express trains, one between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and the other between Secunderabad and Tirupati, are popular with city rail customers, running at 99 percent occupancy throughout the week.
After the success of these two services, the Indian Railway plans to introduce two additional Vande Bharat trains between Hyderabad and Benguluru and Pune in three to four months. One train will operate Kacheguda–Bengaluru, while the other will run Secunderabad–Pune. The Indian Railway and South Central Railway (SCR) are planning these services together.
Hyderabad and Bengaluru, both IT centers, have multiple trains. The Vande Bharat train will reduce passenger train travel time from 12 hours to 8 hours. After the Kacheguda-Bengaluru line is introduced, a Vande Bharat between Secunderabad and Pune may be implemented, and Hyderabad may become the first city to get four Vande Bharat express trains.
