HGH India Makes South India Debut with 16th Edition

HGH India has ventured into South India for the first time with its 16th edition, which was held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from December 3-6, 2024. Over 700 brands and manufacturers from 32 countries presented home textiles, décor, furniture, houseware, and gifts during the event. South India is a key emerging segment for the homes industry; with 20 percent of India’s population, it contributes 35 percent to India’s gross domestic product. As per Arun Roongta, Managing Director, HGH India, South India has 50 percent higher per capita income in comparison to North India, thus representing a better purchasing power.

This biannual trade show included standout features like a sustainability pavilion, a conference on India’s evolving sleep market, and the Indian Heritage Pavilion, spotlighting award-winning artisans. It also highlighted trends and sourcing opportunities for Spring/Summer 2025, catering to India’s growing demand for innovative home products. Being organized by Texzone Information Services Pvt Ltd, HGH India has successfully brought exhibitors in contact with 42,000+ online and offline trade buyers from over 640 cities worldwide. The Bengaluru debut positions the trade fair as a crucial platform for industrial players to enter South India’s growing and transforming market as well as tap into evolving consumer trends.
