Green Industrial Park to House 150 MSME Units to Start Manufacturing
Green Industrial Park in Dandumalkapur, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, will house 150 MSME units manufacturing products related to defence, aerospace, general engineering, and plastic products. The park, which already has over 15 manufacturing units, produces a variety of materials, vehicles, and products.
K Sudhir Reddy , President, Telangana Industrial Federation (TIF) President stated, “About 150 units are in the completion stage and will start manufacturing products by December. The remaining 280 units will be completed next year.”
The Park is being built on 450 acres, with plans to expand to 2,000 acres. Already, the government has acquired 1,250 acres, 450 of which are designated for an exclusive MSME park. 200 of the 450 MSME units will be micro-units, with the remaining accommodating small and medium enterprises. TIF and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) are developing the park, which was officially inaugurated in 2019. The Park would attract around ₹2,300 crore and be fully operational by year’s end. It will create 30,000 direct and 15,000 indirect jobs.
The ‘common facilities centre’, which includes restaurants, banks, food courts, shops, a fire station, an auditorium, and a conference hall, is one of the Park’s major highlights. It will cover an area of 2 lakh sq ft. Furthermore, as part of the ‘walk-to-work’ concept, a 200-acre industrial township will soon open, housing the Park’s employees and entrepreneurs
