EU-India Innocenter Expands Market-Entry Services for Indian Start-ups
EU-India Innocenter, the global innovation hub backed by EU funding, recently hosted a week-long India immersion program in Bengaluru, marking the eighth cohort under the Horizon 2020 framework, for six European start-ups in Bengaluru.
Participating startups like Anyline, Nano-tech, Cheesecake Energy, Enline, PVRmed, and Soula AI demonstrated their innovative healthtech, cleantech, and deep technology solutions.
The event for venture capitalists, potential partners, and Indian and European companies began at Bangalore International Centre. From NASSCOM Future Forge roundtable discussions to Karnataka Digital Economy Mission pitch sessions with start-ups and VCs, the week was full of activity. The EU-India Innocenter also announced the expansion of its market-entry services for Indian startups entering Europe.
Seppo Nurmi, Chargé d’affaires, European Union Delegation to India, praised the effort for unleashing EU-Indian start-up ecosystem collaboration. Varun Mallapragada, Programme Partner, EU-India Innocenter, stressed their commitment to innovation diplomacy to strengthen international relations by creating possibilities and driving tech-driven innovation. The program has supported eight strategic collaborations from prior cohorts and pilot initiatives in several sectors.
