HITEX supports Mandal Parishath Primary School, Khanamet

Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Limited (HITEX), a public private partnership venture between leading industrial conglomerate – L&T and the State Government has dedicated itself to the cause of the needy by adopting the Mandal Praja Parishad Government Primary School in the neighboring Khanamet area as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative

‘Education for All’ is the motto behind the adoption of this school which has over 160 students studying from classes 1 to 4. Extensive building repairs, construction of new toilets, kitchen, development of common areas, protective grills for all corridors, windows and common areas, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. have been carried out. New benches and play equipment have been installed. Housekeeping agency has been deployed for day-to-day maintenance of the school. Water and power services to the building have been regularized and shall be borne by HITEX.

HITEX is also engaging services of experienced part time tutors to fulfill the teaching requirements to the students throughout the academic year. HITEX shall be organizing extracurricular activities to make learning more interesting and engaging for the students. A four member working group has been formed to oversee the working of the school with respect to quality of education, infrastructure, services, etc, on a regular basis, a regular review of children’s knowledge and education levels will be done through an expert external agency and necessary interventions shall be taken up.

HITEX as a knowledge platform for the industry has now donned this role as a knowledge provider by adopting a deserving school. Ensuring that this initiative goes a long way in shaping the lives of the underprivileged children.

HITEX inaugurates Community Ambulance Service

11th November 2017

HITEX has inaugurated the new fully equipped ambulance for community service in the vicinity of HITEX's premises. The flag off was done by GHMC Mayor Shri. Bonthu Rammohan on 11th November 2017. With this new initiative, fully sponsored and managed by HITEX, we aim to provide fast, friendly and efficient ambulance services for emergency need transportation of patients.

This is HITEX's second CSR initiative.
